It's me and my roomie on the beach!!!!

These 2 pics are from the gypsy market where they had TONS of cheap stuffies.

So there was this nice lady named Juana who works in the child development center on base and who is from Rota. She was suuuuuuuuper nice and showed us around the town. First, she brought us to the gypsy market, where they have a bunch of stuff for really cheap. They had hecka cute sandals and dresses and shirts and purses. All I bought was a necklace, though, because I was being stupid and didn't realize that this would be the only time we could go to the gypsy market considering it only happens during work hours. But it was a really pretty necklace.......

Then she took us through the spanish supermarket, which was just like a normal supermarket.... except everything was in spanish. Oh, and they had nasty pig legs hanging from the ceiling in the back, WITH THE HOOVES STILL ON THEM!!!! Ick. It was nasty.

Then we went to the beach (as shown in the pictures) and went to eat at this cute little restaurant that looked out on the beach. I had yummy spanish food (although I honestly prefer american. they didn't even have ketchup!!!). Juana was oober nice and helped us order since we all had no idea what to get. I had chicken paella and this weird potato-egg tortilla thing (which was actually pretty good) and chicken curry on a stick. The last one was WAY too spicy. Yup. And then we went down to the beach and saw all the topless women (all the beaches in spain are topless....).

After that, we stopped to get gelato and then went back on base. Apparently the gelato was rele good, but I didn't have any because the stupid ATM machine gave me a 50 euro bill, and I was like "I am never going to use that" but I didn't have anything else. Oh yeah, speaking of which, I used the ATM to exchange my money. YAY!!!!!
